STUDIO HIRE.
What's included when I hire a studio?
A video-ready room, a live-directed recording across up to four cameras, broadcast-quality audio processed on the way out, and a producer in the room directing the session. You leave with a recording that's ready to publish, not raw files to sort out later.

Do I get the raw files, or a finished recording?
A finished, live-cut recording, edited on the day with the audio cleaned before you leave. If you want the raw files, you get all four cameras' footage and each microphone isolated, so you can send the highest quality files to your own editing team or level it up yourself. Full edits, trailers, social clips and episode assembly are part of full-service production.
How much does it cost to hire a podcast studio in Melbourne?
Collingwood is $395 + GST per hour and suits everything from first-time creators to established shows. Collins Street is $495 + GST per hour, built for brands and enterprise clients who want the larger, cinema-grade room. South Melbourne is $495 + GST per hour, low light and dark timber, with in-studio branding so the room reads as yours.
RECORDING & SETUP.
What equipment do you use?
Broadcast-grade throughout, and set up before you arrive. Shure SM7B microphones and a RØDECaster Pro II run the audio, a Blackmagic ATEM switcher handles live switching between cameras, and Godox lighting keeps every guest looking their best. Collins Street goes further again: four Blackmagic 6K cameras, including two Pyxis 6K with cinema-grade Lumix lenses, the only studio in Melbourne shooting at that resolution. See the Equipment →
Do I need to bring anything or know how it all works?
No. Everything technical is handled, you show up, sit down, and talk. A producer runs the session so you can focus on the conversation.
Can I record video, not just audio?
Yes. Both studios are built video-first, every session is a four-camera video recording by default, with clean audio captured alongside it.
FULL-SERVICE PRODUCTION.
What does full-service production include?
You hand over the recording and we take care of everything after: the full edit, a trailer, social clips, and delivery. Every episode passes through four members of the team, studio lead, narrative editor, producer, and video editor, delivered on a shared review board within five to seven business days.

How fast do I get my episode back?
Five to seven business days for a finished, publish-ready episode, delivered on a shared review board, no app downloads, no timecodes, no email chains.
Can you edit a podcast I recorded somewhere else?
Yes. Email us a link to what you have recorded and we will review the footage and audio before we quote. We check quality first because there are limits to what an edit can fix, and we would rather tell you upfront than take a job we cannot do well. If you are recording interstate, we also have a list of partner studios we send our own shows to, so the footage comes back at our standard.
FIRST-TIMERS.
I've never recorded a podcast before. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Plenty of the people who record with us are doing it for the first time. The room is built to feel calm, and a producer directs every session, so you're never left guessing. Most people relax within the first few minutes.
How do I prepare for my first session?
Bring the content, a rough idea of what you want to talk about. We take care of everything else within the session price, from the room to the run of show.

Where are your studios?

How long can I book for, and do you offer after-hours or weekend sessions?
Sessions run from one hour up to a full eight-hour day. After-hours slots are available Monday to Friday, 7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm. Weekend sessions run Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 3pm, with a two-hour minimum. Just ask and we'll find a time that works. Book the Studio →

Ownership & IP.
Who owns the podcast you produce for us?
You do. Completely. The concept, the format, the name, the recordings, the finished episodes and every asset we deliver belong to you. We are engaged to build the show, not to own a piece of it.
You help develop the concept. Does that mean you own part of it?
No. Everything that comes out of our whiteboard session, the format, the episode structure, the guest strategy, the visual identity and the production deck, belongs to you. We bring the experience that shapes it. You own the result. This is written into our agreement, not just implied.
Can we take the show to another producer, or bring it in house later?
Yes. You are not locked in beyond the initial series commitment. If you move the show, you leave with everything: the files, the format documents, the artwork and the assets. We would rather earn the next season than hold your show hostage to get it.
Who owns the artwork, trailer and social assets?
You do. Anything we design or edit for your show is assigned to you on delivery, including artwork, titles, motion graphics, trailers and clips.
